Overview

Tudor's Biscuit World in Barboursville, West Virginia, is a welcoming slice of country comfort food, centered around hearty biscuit creations that celebrate Appalachian culinary traditions. Located conveniently on U.S. Route 60 E, this spot draws a diverse crowd eager for satisfying breakfast and brunch offerings that emphasize generous portions and familiar flavors.

The spotlight here is squarely on their biscuits, which serve as a base for dishes like the classic Biscuits and Gravy, the customizable Miner (with an option to substitute sausage for bacon), and the indulgent Big Tater topped with cheese and bacon. These offerings showcase the brand’s commitment to bold, rustic flavors paired with home-style cooking. Customers who enjoy substantial breakfast sandwiches will appreciate items such as the Sausage Biscuit and the Sausage Flapjack Biscuit, which pack savory, mouthwatering ingredients wrapped in tender biscuit dough.

Beyond the food itself, the dining experience at Tudor’s Biscuit World is shaped by thoughtful details. According to patrons, the location’s recent updates to seating—introducing comfortable booths and chairs—enhance the relaxed environment. Another practical touch is the self-serve fountain drinks stationed on the customer’s side, reducing waits for refills and encouraging a more seamless meal. The staff’s friendliness further complements the laid-back country vibe, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

While most feedback highlights the enjoyable flavors and generous servings, it’s worth noting that some guests find the signature gravy less appealing, reflecting a subjective palate preference rather than a flaw in execution. Cleanliness, particularly in the restroom facilities, has been raised as an area needing improvement, but these minor setbacks do not overshadow the overall positive impression.

Designed for locals and travelers alike looking for hearty, nostalgic comfort food with a Southern Appalachian twist, Tudor’s Biscuit World succeeds in delivering generous portions and warm hospitality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick breakfast sandwich or settling in with a plate of biscuits smothered in rich gravy, this restaurant embraces the casual charm of country dining with a focus on quality and community spirit.

The breakfast sandwiches were bigger than I expected and very good. The biscuits and gravy was pretty good too. Looking forward to trying out another one when I'm around one again.

TUDORS! Everyone loves tudors, this location has the fountain drinks ON THE CUSTOMER SIDE!!! Thats a huge plus, nobody WANTS to ask for refills. They bring your orders to your table instead of a cluster of people waiting at the regi. They recently did some well needed updates in new seating booths and chairs. I've noticed the cashiers lately have been alot friendlier and welcoming. My negative is the Bathrooms, theyre always bad. Also I dont recommend the Gravy at all, but thats an all Tudors thing. I just dont like Tudors gravy. Other than those this is a great Tudors and still do reccomend.
